We stayed there one night and came in at dusk. We were treated to a nice service and helpful and friendly management. Very beautiful grounds and a wonderful view of the river. I wish we could stay longer and enjoy it an extra night or two.

I will preface this with the good and the bad: We made reservations for the one bedroom with the loft upstairs. We were disappointed at check in. Apparently the manager was not aware that we would be arriving, even though the reservations and payment for the cabin were made months in advance and were confirmed prior to our arrival. No sheets on the bed, no toilet paper, only one bath towel; sparse kitchen utensils and old pots were available. Accommodations were not clean; TV not connected to cable. We had two adults and two kids in our party and we barely fit in this tiny cabin. No way adults would have been comfortable in the loft upstairs due to the very low ceiling. Also there were several dogs roaming the campsite daily, unattended. The good points: beautiful location, friendly staff, gas stove worked well, air conditioners and ceiling fans kept cabin comfortably cool and refrigerator was clean and adequate. The campgrounds were clean. From what I understand new management is taking over so hopefully this campground will become more reputable again.

Really enjoyed ourselves at this campground. There are only a few spots for a popup or small camper and they are pretty close to each other. Make sure you bring an adapter it you need 110 electric, because only 30 amp is available. Many friendly & helpful campers around us. Lots of great tent camping spots. Manager (Don?) was a nice guy. Lots of friendly dogs, so my dog was quite happy. The river is awesome.

Say hello to the local dog Thunder. He's cute.

The owners are great, very easy to deal with. The camp ground is quite and clean. The wife and I are very happy to be here, and there are lots to do.

The train went through four times in the middle of the night. It was unbelievably loud. the owner is nice, but watch out for the black dog

The views are great all the The way around, and lots of great walking trails and the river is right there and the rafting company is right next door

Plenty of room for our 30' RV and good utility hookup. Decently price for the location. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great morning view of the river.
