If you need groceries Wal-Mart in Unicoi is much cheaper generally especially for produce. The staff and managers here are rude unless your their family which they waste time standing around b.s.ing with holding up everyone else
Some of the cashiers at food lion are straight up rude, but it's beyond ridiculous that the store manager wasn't able to fill out a incident report, he did tell me he rarely has to do them... I can see why he just looks for reasons to tell someone that he cannot do it.
Horrible experience there. One of their vendors stepped on my foot I kept him from falling over backwards and then he got really rude with me.
Good for being close but really over priced with horrible coffee...
I spoke with the store manage Rocky about the incident, he was very un caring, didn't care a thing about what happened and when I wanted an incident report filled out he claimed he could not fill one out and he did not.
After arguing back and fourth he told me he was done talking with me but yet wanted my phone number even though he was done talking to me.
He also would not give me the phone number for the office of the vendor that employed the driver that stepped on me and was really rude with me. I was wearing shoes that are called "five finger shoes" so I did not have any protection so it did cause some pain and I did not in the least appreciate how I was treated.
This happened back in July and I have since stopped shopping there and I take my business across town to Price Less. More than happy with the change anyways, priceless meat taste way better than food lions.
This is a clean store, good selection, and friendly staff. I do feel like the prices are a little high.
